Snow Breaks

We installed snow breaks to hold the snow against the roofs so that we could get every last bit of moisture year round. Don't have much in the way of pictures for it, though.

Use lots of silicone! Or whatever other artful procedures need doing when putting holes in your roof. We had the tiniest of leaks in our roof - only noticeable during torrential downpours.. lucky for us (sorta) it was directly over the smoke detector in the boys' bedroom.. the pooling water shorted the detector and made it alarm... alerting us to the leak.
